LOVE GOD FIRST AND NEXT ONLY LOVE OTHERS
JESUS SAYS, "REMAIN IN MY LOVE."
- Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
Dear Friend, Jesus says, "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." (John 15:10, 11).
It is also recorded in the Bible as told by Jesus, "Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life". Matthew 19:29.
When my beloved sister Angel passed away on the 21st of May 1986, we as a family traversed through the valley of tears. Then one day while offering prayers in the morning the Lord Jesus came into our midst and asked, "My children I have taken Angel to heaven. I have thrown a challenge before all the angels in heaven as well as satan that you would still love Me all the more. Would you let Me down?"
As a family we surrendered to Jesus saying, "Lord! Without You where shall we go? We don't want to go to hell. We shall continue to love You even amidst this loss." Then the joy of the Lord filled our hearts. We were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and rejoiced in the Lord. Even the Lord Jesus rejoiced over us. We lost the love of Angel but we remain in the love of Jesus. Our sorrow was turned into perfect joy by the indescribable love of Jesus.
When you remain in the love of Jesus even after losing everything, following Him faithfully by denying yourself and carrying His Cross daily (Luke 9:23) then He shall rejoice over you and fill you with His perfect joy. When we lost Angel in our family, we had to sacrifice the worldly joy. But we resolved to reveal the love of Jesus to millions of people around the world. Neither did we sit in a corner crying over the loss of Angel nor did we forsake the ministry. Although 24 years have passed by, the Lord has given us the grace to stand boldly and say, "Jesus is good."
Likewise, after the home call of my beloved father, we found no time even to cry. We received the revelation of God and continue to minister about Him as a family after knowing His perfect will for us. Today He has opened the world for us to prophesy, to prepare the people and usher in His Second Coming. (Acts 1:8)
Time has come for us to rise up boldly to proclaim the gospel of Jesus to every part of this world. Those who have been called by God have to necessarily sacrifice their comfort and the time they spend with their families. Then the Lord shall bless you, your family, your job and your finances much more. He is using us as a family to raise people of this world as prophets in order to prepare the world for His Second Coming. Similarly, He shall also use you and your family in a greater measure in this great task.
Dear Friend! Jesus is coming soon. Rise up to prepare the world for His Second Coming. Let the whole world know Jesus Christ through us. Let us throw away all our luxuries and comforts, get filled with the love of Jesus and obey His commandments.
Just like Mary, let us sacrifice all our joy concerning the world, family and fame for His sake and surrender ourselves totally to God just to fulfill His will and reveal His love to others. Then the joy of the Lord shall be abundant in our lives. That is our life in this world. From today onwards surrender yourself to Jesus saying, "I shall live for You." Remain in His love always.
Then His joy shall fill you and that joy shall be complete. It shall reveal Jesus to the world and prepare the people for His Second Coming. It would also take us and the people to heaven. That heavenly joy is perfect joy.
Prayer
Almighty God, My loving Father,
I love You with my whole heart and above all things I offer to You all my thoughts and actions and ask You to bless me during this day. Help me so that I may always remain in Your love and follow Your commandments in my life. Give me Your grace and mercy for this day in abundance. Please lift Your countenance upon me and grant me Your peace.
In the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen.
