JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR REDEEMER WHO HAS SET YOU FREE    Deuteronomy 30:3-4  (NIV)  " then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes [a] and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back."     Here's what will happen. While you're out among the nations where God has dispersed you and the blessings and curses come in just the way I have set them before you, and you and your children take them seriously and come back to God, your God, and obey him with your whole heart and soul according to everything that I command you today, God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he'll have compassion on you; he'll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered. No matter how far away you end up, God, your God, will get you out of there and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed. It will be yours again. He will give you a good life and make you more numerous than your ancestors.  (The Message)   When we repent for our sins and turn to  God  he will immediately come to our  rescue. There are two forms of idolatry. .The gross and external form of idolatry consists of worshipping the idols, statues, images, living persons etc. The statues kept in churches should help us to increase our faith and it is not to be worshipped.  God is to be worshipped in the 'spirit and truth'. The Blessed sacrament when exposed is to be adored and worshipped because of the living presence of christ in the consecrated host. Another subtle and external form of idolatry is when we are obsessed or having excessive attachment towards any person or thing or idea. If we love our parents, children, spouses. money, status,TV,food,friends, gossip,clothes, jewellery, good health,good looks ,comforts,jobs,careers,popularity,even helping others,studies,serving the nation etc., more than we love God, then this is also idolatry. In other words if these things stand between us and our love for God, then we are committing the sin of idolatry. But the most serious and dangerous forms of idolatry  are , sexual immorality,greed,covetousness,envy, scandal mongering, gluttony, drunkeness, anger,bitterness,resentment,unforgiving attitude,disobedience,murder,stealing adultery,blackmagic ,astrology  etc. If we indulge in and enjoy the things mentioned above we are under satanic bondage and God's blessings are blocked.
