Daily Meditations # 7 Saturday, 3.12.11
Mathew 9:35--10:1, 6-8
" When you go, preach this: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.'8 Heal the sick, raise the dead to life again, heal those who have skin diseases, and force demons out of people. I give you these powers freely, so help other people freely." Mt.10:7-8
In Jesus' name we are to reach out to the lonely, the depressed, and to those who have lost all hopes in life, to those who are tormented by various fears and to those who are sick in body, mind and soul.All of us have received the gift of healing in varying degrees. We only have to pray and exercise this valuable gift in faith. The power of the Kingdom of God has been given to us freely by Jesus through the Holy Spirit and we have to use that power freely in the name of Jesus to bring God's kingdom even more closer to all those we meet in our daily life. Jesus continues His ministry through each one of us.
