REMINDING GOD OF HIS PROMISES    "But you did say, 'I will make sure that you are prosperous and that your descendants will be as many as the grains of sand on the seashore. No one will be able to count them because there are so many." Gen.32:12   The Bible says that we should petition God for all our needs. God knows all our needs even before they arise and even before we ourselves became aware of them. Then why does God want us to make our petitions known to him ? Moreover the Word says that we should remind God of His promises in the Bible whenever we petition Him. Is God like human beings, forgetful ?.It is just that God wants us to be ever mindful of him for our own good.We should constantly depend on God and meditate on God's nature and qualities, which wil help us to increase our love and affection for him.This attitude on our part towards God will strenghten our faith level and sustain us in our spiritual journey. This spiritual journey is ultimately aimed in attaining everlasting life with God. God is love and provides for all our needs at the right time.We should not worry or be anxious.We are expected to trust God and perform our duties to the best of our ability.
