FULLNESS OF JOY

Dear Friend! In this new month, I offer prayers for God to grant you from His abundance and make you glad always (Psalm 37:4). The people of the world keep searching for the fullness of joy everywhere. These days it is difficult for most people to enjoy the fullness of joy because they are behind material things expecting that it would grant them the fullness of joy that they expect.
It is stated in the Bible that "In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11). While we are in this world, God grants us the fullness of joy and when we reach heaven to be seated at His right hand, He bestows upon us pleasure forevermore – eternal joy.
The Psalmist says, "For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence" Psalm 21:6. Although David was a king, he could boldly say that he was filled with the fullness of joy because he was always found in the presence of God. Therefore, whatever be the position you are placed in, if you remain in the presence of God then the fullness of joy will abide with you always.
A certain sister wrote a letter to me stating, "Dear Sister! I am living all alone having been deserted by my husband. He is asking me for divorce. I have no children and I am staying all alone in my house. However, even in my loneliness I always feel the presence of God.
I keep conversing with God whenever I have time and He grants me all that I need. I am filled with the fullness of joy even in my loneliness because the King of kings is with me always. I firmly believe that God will transform my husband and bring him back to me. I have placed my hope on the Lord to transform my husband. I firmly believe that He will do so. " When I read that letter, I praised God for filling that lady with the fullness of joy even in her loneliness. I was glad to know that she experienced the presence of God and the fullness of joy granted by Him even when she was forgotten by her husband.
I thought how wonderful it would be if the Lord united her husband also with her and enabled them to enjoy the family bliss together. So, I prayed whole-heartedly for God to always keep her filled with the fullness of joy and fulfill her heart's desires. I firmly believe that God will perform a miracle for her and make her happy. As king David says, "You are my portion, O LORD; I have said that I would keep Your words. You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living"(Psalm 119:57; 142:5). Let this experience be ours also while we live on this earth.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus Christ,
I praise and thank You from the bottom of my heart for the goodness which You have bestowed upon me for the past five months. I praise You for having guarded me as the apple of Your eye. You are enthroned in the praises of Israel. I believe that in Your presence there is fullness of joy. Your presence manifests Your glory and Your glory reveals Your power. On this day help me to praise You whole-heartedly for I know that this is God's will concerning me to receive the fullness of joy. Give me the grace to rejoice always in my spirit, pray without ceasing and offer thanks to You for everything that You do for me.
