GOD IS OUR ROCK AND OUR REFUGE               PSALM 138:7    "Though I am surrounded by troubles,       you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.    You reach out your hand,       and the power of your right hand saves me." (NLT)   "When I walk into the thick of trouble,       keep me alive in the angry turmoil.    With one hand       strike my foes,    With your other hand       save me.    Finish what you started in me, God.       Your love is eternal—don't quit on me now." (The Message)   This verse brings to mind two very important facts to every child of God. Troubles and sorrow come to every person born in this world.But a child of God receives special protection and consolation from the all mighty God during every trial and difficult circumstances in their life. This great benefit is not available to the others. However the child of God should believe this promise of God without losing hope while facing difficulties. In dealing with our worldly enemies God has instructed us to pray for them and bless them,This is because in dealing with them, we learn to depend more on God than rely on our human strenght.In the same way God is our sure protection against the attacks of the Evil One. God is our rock and our refuge. We can never be defeated. We will always win, because we rely on our mighty God who is always at our right hand.God loves his children.How blessed are we to have such a God as our Eternal Father.
