HE WII RESTORE WHATEVER WE HAVE LOST.........    JOEL  2:25-27   (IN VARIOUS VERSIONS)   "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you.  You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.  Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.     And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten--the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.      The Lord says, "I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.  Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced.  Then you will know that I am among my people Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. Never again will my people be disgraced.      "Then I will repay you for the years that the mature locusts, the adult locusts, the grasshoppers, and the young locusts ate your crops. (They are the large army that I sent against you.) You will have plenty to eat, and you will be full. You will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has performed miracles for you. My people will never be ashamed again. You will know that I am in Israel. I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. My people will never be ashamed again.   When we turn back to God, God will set right our life again. God will restore to us all the happiness that we lost because we had wandered away from him. When we are happy and successful we forget God or tend to remember him as a matter of routine only on Sundays when we go to church as an obligation. Even this routine becomes a bit tiresome. God is not immediately needed. But when difficulties arise which we are unable to solve by ourselves, then God becomes very important to us. But still the merciful God loves us, and comes to our help whenever we call upon him. Let us be faithful and devoted to God in bad times as well as in good times. Let us love him constantly. Let him be the most important person in our life.
