A GOD WHO IS NEVER TOO BUSY FOR YOU

THE LORD WHO REMEMBERS - Sis. Stella Dhinakaran   He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24) The Bible says: "He (The Lord) has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God" Psalm 98:3. You may please insert your name instead of "the house of Israel." I firmly clung on to the Lord claiming this promise. The Lord has been remembering and blessing my family in an abundant measure. In the same way when you read and claim this promise verse for your family and cling on to the Lord, He would certainly bless you as well as your family in an abundant measure. Bible describes the faithfulness of God as follows: "He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24). "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord" (1 Corinthians.1:9). "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19). "God, who cannot lie" (Titus 1:2). In the year 1969 I had the greatest shock of my life. Suddenly my husband fell sick. Doctors who examined him told me, "Madam, your husband may live only for a week or a month." I was shocked. My children were small then. My son Paul Dhinakaran was hardly six years old. Moreover I knew nothing about the world outside. Next to God my husband who was everything to me told me, "I am going to die. The Lord whom I worship faithfully will certainly take care of you and children." In such a situation, I placed my trust only on God. Believing in His faithfulness that He would save my husband, I ran to His presence and He came nearer to me. I knelt down in His presence and cried out to Him saying, "Oh Lord, You are a faithful and a compassionate God. You are everything to me." Immediately the presence of God engulfed me and I was filled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit spoke to me, "My daughter! Wipe away your tears. Your husband will live. The ministry will now enlarge." Even after this assurance, the condition of my husband was still the same. However, even in that situation I started praising God whole-heartedly saying, "My Lord, you are a God who cannot lie. I am praising you even in this difficult situation." Likewise I continued to praise God for nearly more than four months. The Holy Spirit strengthened me. What a wonder! The doctor who examined my husband again told, "Your husband is hale and healthy now. Hereafter you shall have no trouble." God who performed this miracle for me, will He not do the same for you also? Dear Friend! Always remember to trust the Lord. There is no point in expecting help from mortals during times of crisis. To get deliverance from all your problems, please cling on to the Lord who doesn't lie and get filled with the Holy Spirit. Then the Holy Spirit shall be with you and help you. Prayer: Precious Saviour! I sincerely seek Your forgiveness for failing miserably to call upon Your name. From today onwards, give me Your grace to make all my petitions, praises and fears known to you. Help me to read and meditate on Your blessed Word and receive Your abundant blessings through them. Please grant me the anointing of the Holy Spirit and help me to abide in You always. In the prayer-answering name of our Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.
