BAPTIZED WITH FIRE

John the Baptist says, "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He (Jesus Christ) who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" Matthew 3:11. This experience is unique and incomparable given by God in our spiritual life.
After the death of Jesus, His disciples locked themselves up in a room with fear wondering what would happen to them. Though they hid themselves in a room with fear, Jesus stood in their midst and said to them "Peace be with you" (John 20:19). He did not stop with that but continued to reveal Himself to them for forty days to prove that He was alive. He also taught them to receive the Holy Spirit, the Comforter and also enabled them to comfort one another. So, every time they joined together and prayed, the Holy Spirit fell on them like fire. All their fear, confusion and doubt disappeared. They were enabled to shine like flames of fire for the glory of God (Acts 4:14; 5:15, 16).
If you also faithfully seek this experience from God, He will surely anoint you with the Holy Spirit like fire and bless you with a spiritual life of fire to enable you to be a source of blessing for others to receive this baptism of fire in Holy Spirit.
In the year 1986, I lost my daughter in an accident. My life was shattered and I was in agony. But, even in that miserable state, the Lord told me that there were many women who did not know God and gave me the burden to reach out to them and tell about Him.
He opened a way for starting the Esther Prayer Group. For the past eighteen years, I have been conducting this prayer group all over the world. Today, more than a thousand sisters are praying for other women whom they have not seen.
They are bearing the burden of one another to fulfill the law of Christ for the freedom of women and to shine in darkness (Galatians 6:2). Do you know how God blesses their life? He anoints every one of them with His Holy Spirit and makes them shine like flames of fire and uses them in a wonderful way for the glory of His name.
Today, you do not waste your time in worldly matters. Surrender your life for the glory of His kingdom by becoming a flame of fire of the Holy Spirit. Be wise in redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-17).

Precious Redeemer,
How blessed it is to do Your ministry! Today, You give me the experience of being anointed with Your Holy Spirit and fire and help me to shine as a flame of fire in my life. Today I surrender my life before You. Take my life and use it for Your service and make me shine like a light for Your glory. In the name of Jesus I pray.
