WORSHIP IS FAR MORE THAN SINGING, MUSIC, WAVING HANDS, PHYSICAL SENSATIONS, ANY KIND OF PRAYING, BIBLE READING OR OTHER RITUALS. IT IS LOSING YOUR IDENTITY IN GOD.YOU AND GOD BECOME ONE.IT IS A MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE.  JESUS SAID "I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE IN HEART AND MIND" Jn10:30 . Who will carry my burdens ?

He always sustains us. This is guaranteed.   God helps the righteous. Here in this context the meaning of righteous is, all those who completely depend and trust in God.It does not mean saints or virtuous persons.It means ordinary god-fearing people like you and me. Once you give your problem to God in faith, you should not worry about it. God in his own time will always solve all of your problems. This is guaranteed by God himself. Jeremiah 39:18   In the Old Testament days we find that the nation of Israel always had to fight very powerful enemies on all sides. Israel was a weak country and always found it very difficult to be constantly fighting its enemies.But God fought for Israel and Israel was always victorious unless it sinned and went away from God.   Similarly we are weak in most of the circumstances in our life. Our problems and struggles are bigger than us. We often lose confidence and get discouraged.This is how the devil our enemy succeeds in creating depression in our minds and makes us lose faith in God.   Trust in God. God is bigger than any of your problems.Surrender all your problems,difficulties,doubts and fears to him. You only have to stand still and watch and God will guide you and fight all your battles by your side and you will win. It will even surprise you when you win ! That is how God helped me in many impossible situations in my life. Be sure,the same God will also help you. YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH.......SALT THAT GIVES TASTE TO THE LORD

SALT GAVE THE MEANING - Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4) Dear Friend! It is recorded in the Bible, "And the desire of the righteous will be granted" (Proverbs 10:24). The Bible also says, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Delighting in the Lord means that you remain always happy in the Lord. The world offers promises that could tempt you into sin but when you believe in the Lord and desire to be happy in Him, He promises to grant you the desires of your heart. The Lord wants each one of us to love Him more than anything in this world. If we love Him with all our heart and seek Him, He will never despise us and will never withhold His love from us. He will grant all our hearts' desires. Once a king who had three daughters desired to know how much they loved him. He decided to find out this matter from them directly and asked his eldest daughter, "How much do you love me? What does my love mean to you?" The eldest daughter immediately replied, "Your love to me is as strong as this castle." The king delighted in her response and gave away that castle as his gift to her. He then turned to his second daughter and asked, "How much do you love me?" She smiled saying, "Your love sparkles like the precious jewels of your kingdom." The king's heart bubbled with joy and he presented her with all the valuable jewels of his kingdom. Finally he asked his third daughter the same question and she replied "Your love is like the salt of this world." The king's spirit weighed low and his wrath arose like the high tides of the sea for having compared his love to insignificant salt. He commanded his youngest daughter, "Henceforth, don't you dare to look at my face." She left from the presence of her father and went to the chief chef of the royal kitchen and told, "Sir! May I find favour in your eyes. Please don't put salt in any of the dishes that you are preparing for my father, your king on this day." The chief chef agreed to her plea and while the king had his lunch that day, he turned red with anger because there was no salt in it. He questioned, "Why is there no salt?" The chief chef knelt at the king's feet and begged him for his forgiveness. He said, "The youngest princess had commanded me not to use salt in any of the food prepared today but serve it without salt to you." The king quickly realized the message his youngest daughter tried to convey to him. He called her and said, "My dear daughter, I realize how precious is your love that you value me as the salt of this world." Overwhelmed by his youngest daughter's love for him, he gave her his kingdom. The youngest daughter proved that without the love of her father, the king, her life was meaningless. Dear friend! Seek the Lord. Always give Him the first place in your life. The Psalmist says, "Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!" (Psalm 66:20). The Bible says, "He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them" (Psalm 145:19). Yes, the Lord takes great delight in granting you the desires of your heart when you delight in Him. So, rejoice and delight yourself in the Lord. Prayer: Loving Heavenly Father, I commit my life into Your hands. I thank You that You make me righteous by Your grace and thank You for the promise that You will grant me the desires of my heart. It is Your grace that sustains me in this world. Father, let Your goodness, peace and joy follow me without ceasing. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

FOR WHAT IS SEEN IS TEMPORARY, BUT WHAT IS UNSEEN IS ETERNAL." 2 COR 4:18 (NIV)            YOUR IDENTITY IS IN ETERNITY, AND YOUR HOMELAND IS HEAVEN.      "LORD REMIND ME HOW BRIEF MY TIME ON EARTH WILL BE. WE SHOULD ALSO EXPECT TO FAIL MANY A TIME, IN ORDER TO LEARN.JESUS FELL THREE TIMES UNDER THE CROSS.SOMEBODY HELPED HIM.GOD WILL HELP US. KNOWING THE MIND OF GOD

P S A L M  102:13-14    " You will come and have mercy on Jerusalem,        because the time has now come to be kind to her;        the right time has come.   Your servants love even her stones;        they even care about her dust."      "You will arise and have mercy and loving-kindness for Zion, for it is time to have pity and compassion for her; yes, the set time has come [the moment designated].     For Your servants take [melancholy] pleasure in the stones [of her ruins] and show pity for her dust"   This type of prayer is not born out of frustration or impatience because of long waiting. This prayer comes from strong expectant faith and hope when you know deep in your heart that your prayers have been heard by God and that He is going to help at the right time.This conviction and confidence comes because of deep faith and a sincere prayer life. This is known as the gift of discernment. God graciously reveals his mind to you and you are able to receive that communication in your heart. You should ask God for this gift. LOVE GOD AND PERFORM GOOD DEEDS -- BOTH ARE NECESSARY

RIGHTEOUSNESS – THE RIGHT ROAD - Sis. Stella Dhinakaran You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. (James 2:24) It is imperative that we lead a life of righteousness in this world. Our conscience bears witness to all our deeds (Romans 2:15, 1 John 3:20). It is stated in the Bible, "You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?" (James 2:24-25). The path of righteousness alone pleases God. It is difficult to walk in righteousness with our own strength. That is why Paul the Apostle says, "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me" (Romans 7:18-20). Carnal thoughts arise causing us to fight against God. For example family feuds take us away from the path of righteousness. Our conscience pricks us to pursue peace with all. However, the carnal mind creates enmity, contentions, selfish ambition, bitterness, etc. A certain mother brought up her son in godly ways. He studied well and was well placed. She searched for a suitable life partner for her son with prayers and conducted the marriage in a grand manner. Her daughter-in-law, a pious girl was sincere in offering family prayer, reading the Scripture and in seeking the Lord. Gradually, she gave room for carnal acts in her heart and the qualities of the devil gripped her. Having been blessed with all that a family needs, she forgot God - the One who blessed her. Satan who roams like a lion seeking someone to devour seized this opportunity and sowed seeds of unwanted thoughts, hatred, bitterness and all sorts of evils in her heart. Confusions cropped up in her family. She started torturing her mother-in-law unnecessarily. That poor mother was shattered on account of her daughter-in-law's behaviour. She began to seek the Lord with fasting and prayer binding the carnal thoughts and evil deeds in the name of Jesus Christ, with all the more sincerity (Philippians 2:10). The Lord heard her prayers and shattered all the powers of darkness which worked in the heart of her daughter-in-law. One day, while she casually took the Bible the following verse flashed before her eyes. "…lest you even be found to fight against God" (Acts 5:39). Her evil acts flashed before her inward eye. Being convicted, immediately she knelt down and repented of her sins. God in His immense grace and mercy forgave her and prospered her life. Divine peace engulfed her family once again. Dear Friend! Will you give room for the Holy Spirit and do things that are pleasing in the sight of God? Then you will receive both life and peace (Romans 8:6). Keep away from unhealthy relationships by choosing a life of holiness and enjoy a life of peace. Prayer: Loving heavenly Father On this day, help me to wait patiently at Your feet and to have an understanding of Your will concerning me. You have promised to perfect everything concerning me. I surrender my life into Your loving hands. You make the face of those who seek You diligently to shine. You exalt the horns of the righteous and grant them Your divine peace which passes all understanding. Give me the grace to be careful in all my works. Enable me to be perfect just as You are perfect. Shower Your blessings upon the members of my family and me that we may always have our attention fixed upon Your will for us. PEACE - Sis. Stella Dhinakaran You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3) Today there is no peace in many families. There is no understanding between family members. Couples are separated within a few months of marriage. But the Lord says, "I shall give you peace today." The Bible says, "The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace"' (Numbers 6:26). It is also stated in the Bible, "among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others Ephesians 2:3. According to this verse many of us live as we like and have become objects of wrath. But when we come to the Lord, He transforms us into objects of mercy (Romans 9:23). Yes, where sin increased, grace increased all the more (Romans 5:20). Once a man who was addicted to drinking liquor testified, "I attended a Prayer Meeting and was touched by the Lord. That day I took a decision not to drink anymore. But when I came out from that place I saw all my friends drinking. I was tempted to drink again. So I too bought a bottle and began to drink. But I could not even take a sip. It tasted bitter in my mouth. From that day I got rid of the habit of drinking." This is how the Lord removes all our evil habits and fills our lives with His peace. The Lord says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27). As mentioned in Isaiah 26:3 cling on firmly to the feet of God just as Hannah did. Then the Lord shall bless you with the peace that passes all human understanding (Philippians 4:6, 7). He shall change your sorrow and brighten your face. Dear Friend, I have gone through innumerable afflictions and sorrows in the 48 years of my married life. I faced problems even in the ministry. Even amidst all these problems my husband and I clung on to the Lord with one accord. The Lord poured His love upon us. He graciously filled us with His peace and led us in the ministry. Dear Friend, you too must learn to get filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of God and walk in godliness and the fear of God. The Second Coming of the Lord is at hand. Let us surrender ourselves to the Lord as a family. Always look up to God who surrendered Himself on the cross for you to be blessed. Get rid of all your evil habits. The Lord shall cleanse you with His precious blood. He shall bless you and keep you. He shall make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. He shall turn His face toward you and give you peace. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of peace who died for me to grant me divine peace. The peace which passes all understanding. When I consider how You were in the core of the earth like Jonah in the belly of a fish I am moved by Your love and concern for me. Who am I that You are mindful of me and that You visit me? For You know my frame; You remember that I am dust. I praise and thank You for showering Your love and compassion upon this dust. I believe that anyone who has Christ inside them has life in them. A FAITHFUL GOD

Israel then said to Joseph, "I'm about to die. God be with you and give you safe passage back to the land of your fathers. Gen.48:21 (msg)   When we read the Bible and think about our past life,we find that God has been in total control of our lives.Our ups and downs in life,sorrows and happiness,were always in the knowledge of God even when at times we did bother about him.Either in the natural course of things or because of our mistakes and sins we go through both bad and good patches in life.But whether we call upon God or not he cares  for us in all our troubles and intervenes to help us.Therefore always surrender to God in all situations of life (even in bad situations due to our sins or mistakes - these situations are more common !) and be confident that a loving God will safely bring us to his land of security and happiness. God is closer to you when you are far away from him both distance wise (due to taking up jobs abroad)  and spiritually (due to sins) just as he was with the Israelites in Egypt.I always felt very close to God when I was alone either because people disappointed me or simply because I moved away from God due to my sins.Nobody can be more faithful than God. Charles Swindoll DAILY THOUGHT Life can be discouraging sometimes. We all face criticism from people we love; we face times when we don't feel good enough to fill the many roles we have in life. In those times of discouragement, turning to the Word of God is the best remedy. It reminds us who we are in Christ. Scripture is filled with verses that tell us what God thinks of us: He chose us to be the firstfruits of His creation (James 1:18). He loved us so much He gave His Son to be the sacrifice for our sins (John 3:16). He marks us as His own by giving us the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) He made us fearfully and wonderfully; all His works are wonderful (Psalm 139:14). His grace is sufficient for us; His power is perfected in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). FIERY EDGE

"You are like a wall protecting not only him, but his entire family and all his property. You make him successful in whatever he does, and his flocks and herds are everywhere" Job 1:10 (cev) God is a protecting wall around us ( fiery edge) THE FIERY HEDGE - Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7) How to escape or be delivered from the clutches of Satan? The Bible says, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7). How can we resist the devil that he may flee from us? The answer to this is found in the former part of the same verse. It says, "Humble yourself before God and submit to Him." When we surrender our life to the Lord Jesus Christ, Satan will flee from us. You must be aware that, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). If Jesus Christ who won satan on the cross at Calvary dwells in your heart through the Holy Spirit then satan can by no means touch you or harm you. The Bible attests satan as 'defeated foe'. Jesus Christ destroyed satan on the cross and has triumphed over him (Colossians 2:14). Therefore, when Jesus Christ dwells in your heart you escape from the devil. God put a fiery hedge around Job and his household (Job 1:10). Therefore satan stands before God and cries out saying, "You have put a fiery hedge around him and I am unable to enter his house. I cannot harm him. All that I am able to see is his prosperity. His spiritual life is excellent. His family life is wonderful. He has a wife and lovely children. He has all the riches of the world. Everyone in the society respects him. He is handsome to look at. He is prospering in every aspect of life and no sickness is found in him. God you have put a hedge around him." Similarly, when you open your heart to God and invite him, He will surely put a hedge around you and your household. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but Jesus Christ will come into you to grant you abundance of life. The life that Jesus Christ grants you has the power to destroy death and the darkness that the devil brings (Hebrews 2:14, 15). When you have the Life Giver in you, then you can escape the clutches of the evil one. Just open your heart and say, "Lord Jesus Christ! Please come into my heart on this day. I submit my life into Your loving hands. I will not submit my life to satan or to the pleasures that this world offers. I submit my eyes, thoughts, hands, job, family everything of mine into Your hands. I promise to glorify Your name in everything that I do. I will do only those things that please You. I will live to build Your kingdom on earth." When you lead such a life pleasing to God then you can boldly say, "Get away from me Satan!" Then he will certainly flee from you. Satan cannot touch you. Cry out to God to grant you such a blessed life. When I was a young man I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. One day God filled me with the Holy Spirit. The Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). Liberty from devil's oppression. Everyday on my way to college, temptations would try to overflow within me and try to get the better of my mind. I would cry, "Holy Spirit please help me." The life of the Holy Spirit who is in me would rise up. Then I would speak in the heavenly language filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. I will speak so loudly and be filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit. I would rebuke, "Get away from me -temptations and evil thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus Christ." They would flee from me and divine joy would fill my heart. I will experience the happiness of being a child of God. In this way, temptation could not overpower me and God helped me have a close walk with Him away from sin. I keep doing this even now. As long as we live in this world we will have to face temptations and tribulations. Be of good cheer because our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has conquered the world. He is greater than satan. Therefore, thank Jesus Christ for abiding with you through the Holy Spirit. Keep praising God always then you can escape the forces of darkness. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus Christ, You have triumphed over death the final enemy and crushed the evil works of satan on the cross. Likewise, help me also to crush satan under my feet and follow Your footprints every moment of my life. It is stated in the Bible One who has You has Life. I confess that You alone are the Way, the Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through You.
